We are getting married at the First Congregational Church in Downtown Riverside. It is located at 3504 Mission Inn Avenue at Lemon St. Several of our friends have been married there, and the church is very beautiful. It was built in 1912 by Myron Hunt, who also designed the Spanish Wing of the Mission Inn and the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. The Carillon bells, located at the top of the tower, are the only pealing bells in Southern California, and were manufactured in France. They ring every time someone is married in the church.

We are having the reception at the Old Historic Courthouse, also in Downtown Riverside, located on 4050 Main St. It was built in 1904. It was designed by architect Franklin P. Burnham of Burnham & Bleisner. It was built to resemble the Grand Palais of the 1900 Paris Exposition in the style of the beaux-arts Classicism.
