bridgett lou, 3 months.

my dear bridgett, you are already 3 months & i can't believe it. 

 well, actually you were 3 months a couple weeks ago, but mama has been a little busy. 

you weigh 11 lb 4 oz, and are 22" long. 

you love taking bubble baths with mama in our big tub, and sometimes i think we sit in there too long!

you smile at strangers & talk the most to your grandparents, cooing & everything. it makes me jealous, because you have these long stories to tell them, and then all you want to do is eat when i have you :)

you are doing so well, going to bed at 8:30pm, waking up around 4:30am, and sleeping until 9:30am. you rarely take long naps during the day, just little 15 minute ones when you get cranky.

you are sleeping part of the night in your packnplay by our bed, and the early parts of the morning in mamas arms or your swing after your feeding we are trying to eliminate.

this is what you look like in the morning when you are pooping, haha,  you are still so cute.

you can sit up in your bumbo now, and you love your new jumperoo.

your hair is falling out where you sleep on it, and the bottom is growing in very thick & dark. although the top looks a little bit ginger.

and, here you are crying with your cousin cutter, he's only 2.5 months older than you. 

your mama & daddy love you so very much, and we're so proud to be your parents.

i am so obsessed with her. can you believe i never liked the color pink until i found out i was having a girl? even when i was a little girl, i begged my mom to paint my nails red, and cried if she painted them pink!

snow play day

 this past weekend, we went up to whistler, b.c. we go every year in february. my hubby is a huge snowboarder. i'm more of what you call a fair-weather snowboarder & skier. if the snow is six feet deep- no thanks, slushy & shallow- no thanks... sunny with a fresh layer that has been groomed the night before? yes please.

we had to bundle up bridgett in so many layers to keep her warm, but that didn't stop all her smiles she's been giving us these days.

the weather was so beautiful, i felt like we were living in a snow globe with snowfakes flurrying around us all weekend.

afternoon playdate

these are two of bridgett's favorite friends, ryder & ireland. you might recognize ireland from all the little wellies photo galleries. i remember when my girlfriend was pregnant with ryder, it seems like yesterday really that we were chowing down mexican food & she broke the news :] now he will be two next month, and i have my own little baby girl. i always think she is getting so big too fast, but looking at this picture next to the kiddos she still looks cute & tiny!

but if feels like monday.

i know it's tuesday, but with the holiday weekend, it sure does feel like monday. 

and after finding bridgett in her swing during what should be her 

early morning "awake " time,  i would say she agrees.

have you seen a baby any happier in her car seat? she loves running errands with her mama. i picked up new fabric today & ordered more online:: can't wait to show you my dresses in the new colors.

bridgett's room

i started working on bridgett's room a long, long time ago. well with bedrest, preterm labor, and then a newborn.. the room never really got finished. we will be moving soon, so i put the project on hold & will start over at the new place. for now, here is a lovely collection of photos taken by corey morgan of her soon-to-be old room :)
