a bright [pink] morning

This morning my mom and i (with giada!) headed over to the shops downtown by the Mission inn to pick up some cupcakes for our valentines. i thought you might like to join us for a
bright pink and cheerful morning. :)

enter in through the heart shaped door handles

where first you find cupcakes displayed on chandeliers

which do you prefer?
i got romantic raspberry, rockin' red velvet, & precious peppermint!

or if you keep going, maybe you would just like some
good old fashioned pink candy?

then again, who can say no to so many flavors of fresh white frosting...

of course, i still think starbucks is better than their cappuccinos :)

Casey's Cupcakes & Cappuccinos was created by Casey Reinhardt, daughter of John & Kelly Reinhardt the owners of the Mission Inn.

creepy cupcakes & apple baking

Tomorrow, we are having over friends and family
for pumpkin carving contests.
But what's a good party without some fall baking and creepy cupcakes?

i love the one with buckteeth, ha

i also made some apple spiced bread. yes, i already took a bite :)

and an apple pie from scratch... I'm not sure if it will make it to
tomorrow though, so don't get your hopes up!

a night in the bay

This past Friday night was the wedding of Tiffany Heath (now Ward) and Bobby Ward. It was the perfect beachy nautical wedding. Everything from the seashells to the lighthouses to the centerpieces to her lace dress were gorgeous. Here's a taste::

wedding shower

My first wedding shower was this past weekend, and it was soo much fun! I want to thank everyone who came, and for my hostesses. Allison did such a great job, and it all went so smoothly. Thank you Mom for all the extra errands and creativity. Thank you Becca for coming over to help with the flowers. Thank you Stacy for keeping track of thank-you's, and helping with the fake bridesmaid bouquets :] Thank you Whitney for help on the games, flowers, and organization. Thank you Gina and Victoria for all day. And thank you to everyone who had to travel to be there! The shower couldn't have been more perfect!

don't say cory and don't cross your legs!
